VASER ASSISTED LIPOSUCTION
Unlike invasive treatments, such as traditional liposuction, the vaser is completely non-invasive; in fact, it is considered the healthiest body shaping procedure for the body. Vaser assisted liposuction can be performed to anyone who has an accumulation of unwanted fat anywhere on the body, neck or double chin.
HOW THE PROCEDURE IS PERFORMED
Vaser assisted liposuction is an evolution of traditional liposuction. It is a high definition vaser technique that destroys localized fat and instead of extracting it directly as with the traditional technique, it breaks it down by means of heat, transforming it into an oily liquid that is eliminated by the body itself. As the fat dissolves, the production of collagen and elastin is stimulated, favoring the retraction of the tissues, something essential so that the skin does not become loose and clefts appear.

WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER SURGERY
At the end of the first week, the patient will begin to feel relief from pain. After three weeks the tissues will have finished healing.
At 48 hours, only 70 percent of the final result of this operation will be noticeable. One month after the procedure, most patients have fully recovered from it and after three months, they will be able to see the final result, although this period will depend on the area of the body.
RECOVERY
Recovery from a lipo vaser is easier than from other cosmetic surgeries because it is less invasive. It is an intervention that lasts approximately between 1 and 2 hours, requires a single stitch so the scar is not noticeable when completing its healing. This feature makes the postoperative period less painful and with little discomfort.
Average Procedure Time: 1-3 Hours
Recovery Time: Back to work in 2 weeks
Recommended Procedure Accommodation: 4 days
TRADITIONAL LIPOSUCTION
WHY IS IT PERFORMED?
Liposuction is one of the most popular cosmetic surgical procedures. This surgery consists of the surgical removal of fatty tissue, with the use of thin metal cannulas through small incisions. Liposuction surgery sculpts the body, reducing unwanted fat deposits.
The best candidates for liposuction are healthy people, with a normal weight and localized excesses of fat. It is also important in order to obtain a good aesthetic result that the skin is firm and elastic, otherwise it will not adapt to the new contour and there will be flaps that will later have to be corrected with a plastic surgery intervention.

INVOLVED RISKS:
Seroma: Fluid accumulations occur infrequently in areas where liposuction has been performed.
Infection: Infection after this type of surgery is very rare. If an infection occurs, additional treatment may be necessary, including antibiotics.
Bleeding: Rarely, there may be bleeding during or after surgery. Accumulations of blood under the skin can delay healing and cause excessive scarring.
HOW THE PROCEDURE IS PERFORMED? (TECHNIQUE)
A liposuction usually lasts between 1 and 2 hours, but the time is variable (from 30 minutes to several hours) depending on the area and the amount. Initially, a small incision is made, enough to allow a hollow tube called a liposuction cannula to be inserted. The other end of this cannula is attached to a vacuum-producing machine or a special syringe. Our surgeon will move the cannula between the fatty deposits under the skin, breaking the fat and sucking it out. Sometimes additional incisions are necessary to remove all fat deposits. During liposuction, fluid is lost along with the fat, and it is crucial to replace it to avoid “shock”. Fluids will be given through an IV.
WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER SURGERY:
After surgery, drainage tubes can be placed under the skin for 2 or 3 days to decrease the possibility of fluid accumulation. A girdle, stockings, or elastic bandage will be placed over the treated area to control swelling and bleeding and to help the skin adjust to the new contour. It is usually necessary to wear it for 2 or 3 weeks, and then only during the day for a few more weeks, depending on the instructions of the plastic surgeon. Antibiotics can also be given to prevent infection. Results are not seen immediately after surgery; You will also feel heavier due to the excess fluids that are administered. The suctioned areas will be swollen and bruised and you may have a burning sensation. You will be given pain medicine. You may lose sensitivity in the treated area but after a few weeks the sensitivity will return.
HOW IS THE RECOVERY?
The first 48 hours after surgery, you will experience varying degrees of inflammation and bruising. The swelling is maximum 48 hours after surgery and most disappears in an average of four to six weeks, but there may be a slight residual inflammation of up to four months.
Sutures, if placed, are usually removed seven to ten days after liposuction.
It is important to walk as soon as possible after liposuction to speed up inflammation and prevent blood clots from forming in the legs. However, avoid vigorous exercise for four to six weeks, as it can lead to unnecessary fluid retention in the treated areas.
You should wait a minimum of six weeks before exposure to the sun and heat, including sunbathing, due to the possibility of swelling.
FAT TRANSFER
Fat transfer is the new trend today to rejuvenate the skin. Unlike other treatments, this is a less invasive procedure and achieves a more natural result.
Treatment involves placing your own fat on your face to help decrease the grooves next to your mouth, outline lips, and lift your cheeks.
Fat contains stem cells, growth factors and stimulants, which make the skin regenerate better and this is seen in the appearance of the people in whom it is placed. Fat can be placed anywhere on the body

PROCEDURE
The fat transfer procedure begins with liposuction to remove some excess fat from the donor site, which could be from the abdomen, buttocks, hips, thighs, and even the double chin. To collect the necessary amount of fat cells with the least possible damage. For fat transfer, only whole fat cells are used, which are undamaged and clean.
The fat transfer procedure is completed when the fat cells are injected into the specific place or places on your face. At this point, our surgeon will have already identified the location for each fat injection, with the intention of correcting blemishes or creating a new contour. Fat cells will be injected to the depth necessary to achieve the desired fat transfer results.
WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER SURGERY
You can expect the results of fat transfer to be immediately apparent or noticeable after an inflammation is gone. An important benefit of this technique is that the results generally last much longer than the results of other dermal fillers. Without a doubt, the results of the fat transfer vary according to the patient, but in the case of a correctly performed procedure, the results can last for years or even be permanent.
RECOVERY
Once the fat transfer is complete, you may have some minor swelling or bruising at the donor or recipient site on your face. The swelling is expected to go away in a few days, and any discomfort you feel can be controlled with pain relievers.
Average Procedure Time: 15-30 Mins
